1. Send Ideas
First, email your ideas for the memorial bench. This may include photographs of your pet(s) as shown above. Our team also uses sketches, examples of our previous work, logos, and names / dates to include.
2. Approve Mockup
Next, a mockup of your bench is created. This provides a realistic look of the finished bench. The mockup will be emailed to you for review and approval. Ultimately, the bench is not cut until the design has been approved.
3. Finished Bench
Immediately after, the pet bench is sent to manufacturing. The bench is cut from a fiber optic laser. This allows for small, precise cuts that gives our artists more creative liberty. Once finished, it’s packaged and shipped to you.
Pet Bench Benefits
At Superior Laser Cutting, our pet benches are designed to last. Here are just a few examples of what makes our benches so durable, and long-lasting.
Powder Coat Finish
We powder coat each pet bench. Powder coating gives the metal a lustrous finish that is resistant to sun fade. Our team provides examples of previous projects to give you an idea of what color would work best for your bench.
Weatherproof
Memorial benches, for the most part, are placed outdoors. This results in the bench being exposed to all types of outdoor weather. Our powder coating process protects the bare metal from chips and scratches that could cause rusting.
Durable Bench Design
Benches are made to be used for years and years to come. With this in mind, here are a few of the ways that make the bench so durable and long-lasting:
- The body of the bench is cut from a single sheet of metal. This process requires fewer welds; providing less points of weakness on the bench.
- Stainless steel foot pads are attached to the bottom of the bench legs. Stainless steel is a naturally rust resistant metal that protects corrosion from creeping up the bench.
- Each bench is sandblasted, primed, and powder coated. These three steps ensure that the bench will be protected from outdoor exposure.
