What makes the outdoor signs so long-lasting? Here are a few ways that our products stay looking new year after year.
Sandblasting, Priming, & Powder Coating
Each metal sign goes through a three-step powder coating process including: sandblasting, priming, and powder coating. Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and other impurities that could get in the way of the powder coat. It also creates a slightly faced surface that will help the powder better adhere to the metal. Priming prepares the outdoor sign to be powder coated and creates a secondary layer that prevents moisture from ever touching the bare metal. Lastly, the sign is powder coated in the color of your choice. This creates an impermeable layer that is twice as thick as the average paint.
